Sequence Tool is a native macOS workspace for transcribing, refining and preparing audio and video before the creative edit. It grew from scripts built to remove repetitive post-production work into a complete product spanning brand identity, native application, website, documentation and launch content.

The product keeps media processing close to the machine, using on-device transcription and a non-destructive project model to help editors search recordings, refine spoken content, remove silence, prepare audio and carry editable decisions into finishing applications such as Final Cut Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

Its identity is built around keyframes, layered variants and forward movement. That system extends from the app icon and interface to campaign imagery, product education and a public platform supporting downloads, accounts, documentation, releases and ongoing customer support. The initial release led to an interview with editor and trainer Larry Jordan.

Set the product strategy and selected a focused Final Cut Pro workflow as the MVP, then prioritized the roadmap using trial and paid-customer feedback alongside product judgement.

Designed the brand, native macOS experience, website, documentation and launch campaign as one coherent product system.

Engineered the application, media-processing workflows, on-device AI, CLI, customer platform and supporting cloud infrastructure.

Reduced rough-cut preparation time by up to 5× compared with manually listening, scrubbing and slicing, and by up to 10× through CLI and LLM-agent workflows.

Earned an interview and positive response from editor, trainer and author Larry Jordan following the initial launch.
