Badlands Bistro is a family run restaurant/operation in Drumheller AB, Canada.
The target audience is for the restaurant is:
Middle income adults , 30-35, with children. Adventurous and active lifestyle. Interest in nature, hiking, and camping. Jobs in the sciences leading to a shared interest/curiosity with their children. The bistro will utilize the local fresh produce and be open and welcoming to families.
The Process
Begun with a logo development that set out to create a professional/refined look while staying approachable and enticing for a family run operation. Abiding by these core attributes:
👐Bold, Sophisticated, and Welcoming 💪 👐
The brand guidelines set out to create a structure for the restaurant to follow that includes imagery and patterns. These elements are designed to be interchangeable and easy to integrate into future marketing campaigns.
The imagery consists of fossil/paleontological subject matter, done in an etching like style. This will strengthen the link/bond with surrounding dramatic natural setting. Muted colours and tones will also be emblematic of the focus on natural ingredients used on the menu.
