Platypus - Helping freelancers and independents manage their cashflow ✨

From November 2021 to September 2022, I had an amazing opportunity to work with the Platypus team as their social media manager. Platypus is a startup with the goal of helping freelancers manage their unpredictable cash flow.

My role as their social media manager was to bring awareness to the company before its launch in the late spring of 2022. To do this, I have helped create inspirational posts, educational videos, and eye-opening tweets on their social media accounts. Below is an overview of my work process and some major wins from our time working together.

THE PROCESS 🗓️

• A 30-day content calendar was created in Notion for TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter
• Then strategies were put in place based on Platypus' goals for the month
• On TikTok, I created all of the video scripts and send them over to the Platypus team, where they filmed the clips
• I then edited, refined, wrote the captions, created the hashtags, and posted the videos

MAJOR WINS 🎉

• Grew TikTok from 71 followers to over 13,000 followers
• Helped grow launch waitlist to over 6,000 subscribers
• Reached over 365,000 accounts on Instagram
