Global Media Insights, a digital marketing agency based in Dubai, provided me with the first workplace to showcase my work. My role was to create SEO-optimized content that would bring consistent traffic to the company's official website as well as to their client’s website, while enhancing user engagement and boosting on-page performance.
Objectives and deliverables:
The primary objectives for this project were:
To create SEO-friendly content that ranks well in search engines and drives organic traffic.
To improve on-page copy to maximise conversion rates for the website.
Execution:
Keywords were provided to me to start the content writing process. I needed to craft a story that was both informative and relevant to the target audience. For that,
I strategically placed keywords throughout the article, without overcrowding them to increase content visibility in the search results.
I refined the on-page copy to align with the target audience’s expectations. Using compelling headlines, clear calls to action, and optimised meta descriptions, I ensured that the content was both engaging and conversion-friendly.
Outcomes:
The results of my efforts were:
Increased Traffic: A single article for the official company website contributed to a 30.34% increase in new users and a 37.04% boost in total clicks, driving substantial traffic.
Improved Rankings: By enhancing another article (for the official website), I helped it achieve a global ranking of 17.9, resulting in a 96.67% increase in total clicks and a 32.08% boost in impressions.
The Bottom Line:
I will forever be grateful to the company for providing a platform without me having any professional experience before. On the other hand, by understanding the client’s goals and aligning them with data-driven strategies, I was able to deliver measurable results that directly impacted their business objectives.
