SOOK: Organic Teas

Packaging design for SOOK, an organic tea brand built on authenticity, wellness, and quiet luxury — blending minimal illustration, natural tones, and a touch of modern charm.

Designed while working at Graphe, Kolkata, with team collaboration and feedback throughout the creative process. The brief was to craft packaging that felt pure, human, and emotionally grounded — aligning with SOOK’s philosophy of slow living and meaningful experiences. The design needed to feel modern, but still warm and relatable — something that would look equally good on a boutique shelf or a quiet kitchen counter.

The challenge was to build a modern organic tea brand that stands out in a market flooded with “eco-minimalist” visuals. SOOK needed an identity that felt clean and premium, but not cold or distant — something rooted in human warmth and natural connection.

Many organic brands lean too far into either luxury or earthiness, losing balance in the process. SOOK’s positioning demanded visual storytelling that communicates mindfulness without overdesign — packaging that whispers calm rather than shouting sustainability.

The concept revolved around quiet storytelling — minimal design with human presence. Each variant features a unique illustration of a woman paired with soft color tones, representing mindfulness and emotion.

The packaging language combines gentle illustrations, modern typography, and structured composition. Muted colors flow between natural greens, reds, and browns — translating the tea’s origin and flavor into an emotional palette. The design merges editorial simplicity with handcrafted detail.

Each tea variant was designed to stand alone yet connect across the series. 3D mockups were created to visualize consistency, proportion, and shelf presence before finalizing print assets.

Working iteratively in Blender, I focused on material textures and soft light renders to highlight SOOK’s tone — calm, clean, and modern. The result is a visual identity that feels serene yet memorable, echoing the ritual of tea itself.
