Pupas Studio - Brand identity

A full brand system created for Pupas Studio, a Brazilian creative studio logo, brand manual, and social media assets.

Pupas Studio is a Brazilian branding studio built on a powerful concept: transformation. "Pupa" is the metamorphosis stage of a butterfly, the moment before something becomes what it's meant to be. That's exactly what the studio does for its clients: transforms their brands into something new and alive. They came to me with full creative freedom to bring that idea to life visually.

With the butterfly and transformation as my north star, I wanted the identity to feel like something in motion, vivid, organic, and impossible to ignore. I drew from holographic aesthetics and psychedelic color to capture that sense of emergence: the moment a butterfly breaks out of its cocoon into full color. The butterfly became the centerpiece of the logo, its form built directly into the lettering as a symbol of the studio's purpose.

I designed the logo with the butterfly shape as its core visual element, built a full color system around holographic gradients that shift and catch the eye the way a butterfly's wings do, defined the typographic hierarchy, and documented everything in a comprehensive brand manual built in Figma. The identity was then extended into social media templates and digital assets, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint.

A brand system that doesn't just look bol, it means something. Every color, every curve, every gradient connects back to the idea of transformation. Pupas Studio now has a visual identity as alive and distinctive as the work they do for their own clients.
