At Candylab, I've had the pleasure of being involved with many brand collaborations — one of the company's greatest marketing tools.

Most recently, Candylab worked with Color Factory to design and release the Chroma Bus, a custom wooden toy that is exclusively sold on Color Factory's website and at their US locations. In addition to designing this adorable bus livery and its cross-branded packaging, I also collaborated with the Color Factory marketing team to organize a launch event at their NYC location and create promotional content for social media. This included an interactive activity I developed for Candylab's marketing events featuring a customize-your-own CANDYCAR® station and a wooden race track that I designed and fabricated with the help of Candylab's product development team.

We even produced a jumbo remote-control Chroma Bus to star in the launch video and make an appearance at the event.

Art Direction, Marketing Strategy, Interactive Design

I designed Candylab’s interactive activity for a popup influencer event at Fred Segal’s new Malibu location. Attendees could assemble, paint and race their own toy cars on a 13-foot ramp that featured three uniquely shaped race tracks. I was responsible for designing the ramp as well as the printed and digital materials promoting the event. I was also involved in planning and promoting the event with our co-host, Mochi Kids. 

After the overwhelming success and excitement for the first "CANDYCAR® Derby" at Fred Segal, the ramp activity became became a staple at marketing events, including FAO Shwarz' 160th Anniversary.

When Color Factory launched their Chroma Bus which I designed, they also requested a custom ramp which they decorated and completed with a tiny ball pit.
