Habbi Habbi is a bilingual children's book brand co-founded by two moms, H&AL, who created a language-speaking wand to engage young children for play-based bilingual language learning. Their book comes in English/Chinese and English/Spanish and highlights meaningful topics such as self-empowerment, diversity, self-care, curiosity, kindness, and resilience. 🌟

I was invited by the founders of Habbi Habbi to illustrate this bilingual children's book on the topic of Global Celebrations!

Global Celebrations

I started illustrating this project by reviewing the context provided by the co-founders and work closely to coming up with sketches that showcase diverse cultural aspects for each holiday. Through this process, I worked closely with the co-founders to create illustrations that are meaningful and educational. Since each part of the illustrations is tappable, there were more restrictions around making each component easy to code while being cohesive overall.
