"Energy Media is a project under Resource Media devoted to making sure that the stories of the fast-growing renewable energy sector continue to get the attention they deserve. Energy Media is a team of communications experts who work with clean energy experts, partners, advocates, and champions around the country to help tell these stories."
I was invited to be on their team to update their logo and create whimsical and approachable illustrations and icons for their presentations.
Logo Refresh ☄️
Objective: A slight refresh on their logo design to match Resource Media's brand identity.
Approach: By matching the weight and shape of the new logotype to Resource Media's logo and incorporate the bright orange-red color palette, the new logotype is now more cohesive with Resource Media's brand identity.
Presentation Design 👩🏼🚀
To tell stories and introduce the team to the stakeholders, the Energy Media team came up with the analogy of describing themselves as astronauts—who collaborate amongst planets and make things work! We used clean and fun illustrations to demonstrate the team's structure and how staff from different locations communicate with each other.
Icon Design 🪐
This set of icons featured 45 space and clean energy-themed icons. These icons are brand assets that will be used throughout the presentation.
