Therapist Dashboard Concept: What makes a therapist dashboard genuinely useful — more data, or better prioritization?

This is a concept exploration for a mental health practice management product that brings sessions, patient context, documentation, alerts, tasks, and follow-ups into one workspace.
The dashboard is structured around the therapist’s daily workflow: today’s schedule, next session, outstanding documentation, items requiring attention, and quick access to patient details.
The UX focus was on information hierarchy, scanability, actionability, and reducing cognitive load between back-to-back sessions.
Instead of treating the dashboard as a collection of widgets, I approached it as a sequence of decisions: What needs attention now? What can wait? What information should be visible immediately, and what can stay one step deeper? That thinking shaped the information architecture, user flows, wireframes, interaction states, and iterative UX refinement.

🎨 I also explored the system in light and dark modes, using the same component logic, hierarchy, and interaction patterns across both. The visual direction combines accessible color usage, responsive layouts, reusable components, clear typography, and subtle data visualization to keep the interface calm without losing density.
