Tracksy is a fictional, all-in-one music distribution platform. The idea was based on another music distribution app called Offstep.

I did this concept design exploration project as a way of exploring how I can blend a creative niche with a tech-based/sophisticated vibe.

For this project, I wanted a design that was both trendy, purposeful, and captivating enough for bold, music creatives.

A design that matched the ambitiousness of the artists who would be using the platform for their music.

With the concept being based on a similar music distribution platform named Offstep, I did in-depth research on the platform and other competitors.

I researched common visual, symbolic, and other design tropes associated with the industry/niche.

I designed the wireframe for each section, including placeholders for graphics.

Each section was eventually polished with the color palette + styling I finally decided on.

The graphics, icons, and imagery were then added to their respectful sections.

All Caps, Bold Headings: Bold, all-caps headings create a strong, expressive tone that resonates with music artists and creatives who value confidence and impact.

Music Trope Inspired Styles: For example, some of the icons included have a holographic sheen reminiscent of vintage CDs, which is very relevant to the industry.

Conversion-Oriented Flow: From the hero section to the footer, each section is designed as a journey to spark visitor interest by highlighting desired benefits + features.

Relevant Imagery: Images included artists recording + creating music passionately, something that the target audience can relate to on an emotional level.

The objective + goal that I had in mind for this design project was a success. From the color palette, to the styling of imagery, I felt as if the landing page irradiated vibes of passion, creativity, hipness, and sophistication.
