Letter to the Queen

WEB3 Website concept is a multidisciplinary tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, combining digital arts, NFTs, and sonic visuals to explore the essence of sound across cultures

Overview

"Letter to the Queen" is a dynamic blend of various art forms celebrating Queen Elizabeth II. Using the King George VI microphone as a symbolic element, this project unifies digital and visual arts, photography, sound, and NFTs. It delves into the universal language of sound and its transformation into verbal languages, highlighting their shared origins and effects across cultures. Through an innovative use of a cyma-scope, sonic waves are visualized as frequencies in water, presenting a unique interplay of sound, image, and thought - both human and natural.

Client’s request

The client, an innovative photographer, presented a unique concept: portraits from sound waves shot through water, exhibited physically in London and digitally as NFTs. The project involved collaborations with a royal jewelry brand and Universal Music, plus the creation of 3D-printed jewelry mirroring the Crown Jewels. The challenge was to add our Web3 expertise to this ambitious mix, developing a metaverse concept to enhance the multi-sensory experience. Our goal was to harmoniously blend art, history, and technology, unifying physical and digital realms to resonate with audiences across both mediums.

Our Solution

Recognizing the multidimensional nature of the "Letter to the Queen" project, we crafted a holistic approach to meet the client's vision. Our solution involved conceptualizing and creating a bespoke website design that beautifully mirrored the project's fusion of diverse art forms, historical elements, and cutting-edge technology.
The website was thoughtfully designed to ensure seamless navigation while immersing visitors in the unique artistic journey. The visual design was inspired by the project's exploration of sound, transforming sonic waves into captivating visual elements to resonate with the audience. In doing so, we managed to translate the abstract concept of 'sound as an image' into tangible, accessible digital content.
Our solution provided the client with a digital platform that not only showcased their multidisciplinary work but also helped to generate interest and engagement amongst diverse audiences. This digital presence significantly enhanced the visibility of the "Letter to the Queen" project, enabling it to reach a wider audience and increase its impact.
In the proposed design, we included interactive features that could potentially allow viewers to experience the fusion of sound, image, and thought in an innovative and engaging manner.

FULLY Customisable

One of the most innovative features of the project is the option for users to record their own letter to the queen and mint a unique NFT. To make this feature stand out, we designed an interactive, easy-to-use interface that guides users through the process, making it an engaging, personal experience.

Tour

In our design process, we prioritized user experience and interaction. To this end, we devised an infographic tour element. This piece of design helps guide users through the site, highlighting key activities and features they can engage with.

Assets

In addition to the website design, we also developed a range of digital assets to support the "Letter to the Queen" project. These assets, specifically tailored to enrich the user interface, included custom graphics, engaging animations, and visually compelling infographics that helped to tell the project's story. Each asset was meticulously designed to maintain consistency with the overall aesthetic of the project, ensuring a visually cohesive experience for users throughout the website.

Jewelry

Beyond the physical and digital art displays, the client also envisioned the incorporation of 3D-printed jewelry based on the Crown Jewels. To fully leverage the potential of the project, they expressed the need for an encompassing Web3/metaverse concept, something that would propel this endeavor to the next level.
