I engineered a modular backpack system featuring an innovative quick-release interchangeable strap mechanism. Developing the concept from scratch, I modeled the load-bearing hardware and strap interfaces in 3D CAD, optimizing internal latch tolerances for secure locking. I applied strict DFM principles for injection-molded buckles and heavy-duty webbing assembly. After validating physical prototypes for weight distribution and shear strength, I delivered a factory-ready tech pack complete with 2D technical drawings, stitching callouts, and material specs.
