LOW PROFILE MECHANICAL KEYBOARD INDUSTRIAL DESIGN CONCEPT 3D CAD DEVELOPMENT MECHANICAL ENGINEERING DFM
I engineered an ultra-slim low-profile mechanical keyboard combining refined industrial design with precise mechanical architecture. Modeled in CAD, the internal layout integrates low-profile key switches, a custom plate-mounted PCB, and acoustic dampening layers within a rigid aluminum chassis. I applied strict DFM principles for CNC machining and die-casting, optimizing wall thicknesses and fastener placements. The delivery included full production drawings with GD&T callouts and photorealistic renders detailing anodized metal and keycap textures.
