Client: CHI'TIVA Cannabis Cafe & Lounge
Challenge: The Cannabis Cafe and Lounge was closed on Mondays due to consistently low sales. To turn this slow day into an opportunity, they decided to experiment with hosting events, hoping to drive foot traffic and engage their target audience.
Solution: I worked with the team to develop a wellness-based event, a weekly yoga class, which aligned well with the lounge’s offerings and customer base. We aimed to create an experience that would increase engagement and generate sales on a day when the business was normally closed.
I designed a multi-faceted marketing campaign, which included:
Business Cards placed at registers to act as conversation starters, equipped with a QR code leading directly to the event signup page.
Flyers strategically placed indoors to promote the class, which also doubled as social media content to reach a broader audience.
Video Content showcasing the event, designed to capture attention and build excitement for the unique offering.

Results: The campaign was a success. On a day when the store would normally be closed, people came out for the yoga class and enjoyed the exclusive private shopping experience afterward. This event not only filled an otherwise quiet day but also helped generate additional sales. Due to the success, the cafe even adjusted its schedule until eventually reopening on Mondays, which led to the end of the event. However, during its run, the class generated both foot traffic and buzz for the lounge.
