Laborup are a platform for blue collar workers based in the US. So far, they've been entertaining their 4k Instagram followers with memes and humor-driven content, but they were in need of a feed refresh.

Inspired by the dynamic and contemporary industries their audience work within, we created a series of branding content templates that can be edited via Canva, but don't fall into the 'same-y style' trap of your typical Canva template.

Although we were taking a slightly different stylistic approach with the Laborup content, I wanted to ensure we stayed within their brand's visual identity. For their job highlights posts, I took elements from their existing website UI and made them into editable templates. This meant that within the new content style, we still had familiar elements that tie it all together.

Laborup are all about high-paying industry jobs. The natural design route to take could be very minimalist and - for lack of a better word - 'boring' in style, but we went a very different direction. Taking modern and vintage imagery, blueprints, paper textures and glossy, metallic accents, we created content that stands out on a feed and shows who Laborup are: modern inovators.
