Establishing an Illustrative Brand Style

roofquotes.com came to me with no existing illustrative brand style, so it was important to undergo a strategic and research-led developmental stage. We landed on a clean, minimalist and effective illustrative style, that compliments their existing brand assets well.

roofquotes.com needed eye catching and effective signage that would establish the business in the area. Using the 'smile' iconography from the logo in the signs' copy helped us to build upon their existing brand recognition, whilst keeping the overall design corporate and simple.

It was important for these illustrations to look beautiful and cohesive on the roofquotes.com website, as well, of course, as on merchandise, social media and other branded assets.

Another project deliverable was a set of roofquotes.com branded badges. Inspired by WeWork's city sticker initiative, we created a 'Chattanooga' badge for roofers in the Chattanooga area to implement, with a clear style that can be used to create additional place badges in the future. We also used this new illustrative style to create a roofquotes.com partner badge, featuring a roofer duo and, again, the distinctive brand colours and style.

Finally, we create minimalist, recognisably branded t-shirt designs for roofquotes.com colleagues and clients. Again utilising the logo mark 'smile' and catchy copy, we were able to design t-shirts that help establish the brand's key visual elements and spark curiosity, without being too overt or 'in your face'.
