From Crisis to Confidence: How I Built a Lead Generation Powerhouse for Vets4Vets in Just Two Weeks
Vets4Vets isn't your typical consulting business. Since 2017, they've been on a mission to help military veterans navigate one of the most frustrating bureaucratic processes they'll ever face: achieving their rightful 100% VA Disability Rating.
What makes them uniquely qualified? Their founder is a former VA Rater, someone who's seen the system from the inside and knows exactly what veterans need to succeed.
By 2024, Vets4Vets had developed four veteran-focused courses: a robust $500 flagship program and three ebook courses at $30 each, all designed to guide veterans through the VA rating process.
They had the expertise. They had the content. They had the passion. What they didn't have was a professional digital presence that matched the quality of their mission.
The Mission
When Vets4Vets found me in the Kajabi Experts Marketplace in early August 2024, they were facing a hard deadline: a major event in Atlanta scheduled for August 23-26, just two weeks away.
They had a basic Kajabi setup that lacked professional marketing design, sales pages that didn't communicate value, and no clear strategy for presenting their offerings.
Without a functional, professional website and sales system, they'd walk into that Atlanta event unable to capture momentum or serve the veterans who needed them.
They needed an expert who could move fast without cutting corners, someone who could transform their platform into a lead-generating machine in less than two weeks.
The Process
When a client comes to you with a two-week deadline, the worst thing you can do is panic and start designing. I started with research.
I dove deep into market research, studying how veterans search for VA disability information and what language resonates with them.
I compiled everything into a comprehensive strategy document that became the foundation for both the website and sales pages.
During our discovery call, we mapped out their entire business model and positioned their offerings strategically.
One breakthrough emerged during planning: I proposed bundling all three ebooks at $75 with a promise that buyers would automatically receive free video course upgrades later.
This created significantly more perceived value, simplified the purchase decision, and essentially pre-sold future products, entrepreneurial thinking that matched their own "Mission Entrepreneurship" course theme.
With strategy locked in, I executed across seven disciplines: research, copywriting, design, development, mobile optimization, email marketing, and automation.
I crafted messaging that spoke directly to veterans' struggles, built out the Kajabi website with a compelling homepage and four sales pages, ensured flawless mobile experiences, set up email campaigns, and configured checkout with automatic community access.
We even positioned their ebooks as immediate-access courses with video upgrades coming later, letting them serve veterans immediately while building the fuller product.
The Outcome
Two weeks after our initial discovery call, Vets4Vets walked into their Atlanta event with a completely transformed digital presence.
I delivered a professional Kajabi website with strategic sales pages, seamless checkout and community access, mobile-optimized experiences, and email marketing infrastructure ready to nurture leads.
After the event, we continued building additional funnels and pages for ongoing lead generation and sales.
The website was versatile enough to serve multiple purposes—whether for direct sales or lead generation, it built trust and captured interest.
The Impact
Here's what made this project remarkable: while the initial plan was to process direct sales at the Atlanta event, something more valuable happened.
The professional website became a powerful lead generation tool that captured substantial numbers of quality leads during and after the event.
Rather than one-time transactions, Vets4Vets built an email list of engaged veterans they could serve over time.
"My business is more organized and now I finally have a handle on what is needed to establish and grow my Kajabi courses and community," the founder told me afterward.
They gained credibility through a professional digital presence that matched their expertise, strategic clarity around positioning and pricing, platform mastery of Kajabi's tools, scalable infrastructure to build on, and a lead generation engine that continues capturing interested veterans.
When asked what they'd tell others considering working with me, they emphasized my ability to "explain the situation of what needed to happen, what was possible, and provide guidance in the execution of my ideas."
Today, Vets4Vets has a professional digital home that generates leads, communicates value, and supports their mission.
Veterans who might never have found them now have access to the guidance they desperately need, all because we built something that works in just two weeks.
That's the kind of impact that makes tight deadlines worth it.
