Plastic in Bali interactive Map for Sungai Watch

Sungai Watch is one of the most exciting new NGOs tackling ocean plastics in Indonesia. Since 2020, they’ve been intercepting waste in rivers before it reaches the sea, collecting it, and sending it to their centres. From the start, they’ve tracked the plastic products, brands, and locations of the waste — creating an incredibly valuable dataset. We brought this data to life in an interactive map, giving citizens, activists, and officials a clear view of where interventions are needed most, and providing Sungai Watch with a scalable tool to supercharge their impact.
