Once upon a time, there was a pixelated universe, full of stars that were not just light… but thoughts! ✨

In Cosmic Thoughts: Pixel Galaxy, each star represents an idea or feeling from the person who created it. The challenge was to turn abstract concepts into a lightweight, interactive, and nostalgic experience right in the browser.

Navigate the space: click and drag to move, scroll to zoom.

Create stars: right-click on empty space to share your thought.

Read thoughts: hover over stars to see ideas left by other explorers.

React to thoughts: each star allows users to leave reactions, like emojis, to interact with others’ ideas in a fun way.

Listen to the galaxy: ambient, procedural music makes every visit more immersive.

The project was built with smart prompts in Figma Make, where I asked the AI to:

Make stars softly glow when interacted with.

Produce light animations and effects to keep the prototype fast and smooth.

Create an interface inspired by early 2000s UI, simple, clear, and full of pixel charm.

Integrate free APIs, like YouTube playlists for music, emoji reactions, and an API to save thoughts and reactions in real time, so all ideas and interactions remain stored and accessible.

The result? A functional, nostalgic, and fun prototype that invites users to share, explore, react, and connect through stellar thoughts, with everything saved in real time. 🌌

Through this process, I realized I am learning more and more with Figma Make and discovering how I can use it to create even richer interactive experiences. This challenge inspired me to imagine future creations combining design, interactivity, and real-time collaboration in increasingly creative ways.

In the end, it’s clear: every star has a story, every reaction is a small interaction, and every user is an explorer in the universe of ideas we created together.
