The checklist I run over a financial model before it goes to an investor or before I rely on one myself. Twenty questions covering structure, period logic, statement integrity, driver design, funding, valuation and returns. Each one takes under a minute and catches a failure mode that survives every visual review: a dragged range, a monthly figure presented as annual, a multiple mislabelled as an IRR, a valuation resting entirely on its terminal assumption.
