Astek Diagnostics is at the forefront of healthcare innovation, aiming to revolutionize the way bacterial infections are diagnosed and treated. Their product is a benchtop analyzer designed to deliver rapid and accurate results.

My main objective was to create a seamless, user-friendly interface for The Jiddu device, enabling healthcare professionals to diagnose UTIs and determine effective antibiotics within one hour. This design must be intuitive, align with Astek’s branding, and ensure a streamlined workflow from sample preparation to result analysis, significantly improving patient care and outcomes.

Healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and lab technicians, who are responsible for diagnosing UTIs and prescribing appropriate antibiotics. By applying the JTBD approach, I was able to clearly define the specific outcomes healthcare professionals seek when diagnosing UTIs and prescribing antibiotics.
