This project was created as a test task for the “Headway” company.

Time taken to create the project: 8 days

2 days – analysing the structure of the summary, getting acquainted with the content of the application, selecting quotes that would express the main idea of the book

The summary structure:

first chapter – annotation,

body – the main information, all the main ideas in the chronology as presented in the book,

the last chapter – a conclusion with useful tips or "calls for actions" that the author also uses in the book.

The lexis is not too complicated and is enough to understand for Upper-Intermediate level. It is great, when there are words unfamiliar to the reader (which, by the way, would not prevent with the perception of the main idea), which can be added to a personal vocabulary.

1 day – reading the book "Whatever you think, think the opposite" by Paul Arden (100 pages). Selecting quotes and the common thread that unites several pages, because the book is not strictly divided into chapters.

5 days – writing a full review with a conclusion, sticking to the tone of voice of the application.

Detailed structure:

the heading – summarizes the idea of the resume chapter and at the same time gives advice.

the first sentence of each chapter of the summary is summarizing. It tells about a problem or fact that is common for a conventional majority of people. The further narration unfolds logically, developing the main topic.

conclusion – is justifying the book title, summarizing the main statements, mentions the author's message, gives an inspirational quote and pieces of advice.
