Simple yet strategic tweak helped 5x the conversion rate

Background:

Elly Capital creates outstanding lending opportunities that deliver enduring value while contributing to the social and economic welfare of Australia. All this while never losing focus on supporting and facilitating positive outcomes for our lenders.

Campaign Goal:

  • They wanted to generate more qualified leads who have the budget and is actively looking for an alternative investment opportunities that's safe and in Real Estate.

Challenges:

  • Their bounce rate was high and their conversion rate was just around .24%.
  • This meant that they were not able to build their lead list whom they can nurture and follow up.
  • Another challenge they have is they don't have any prequalifying question on their lead magnet which made it difficult for them to segment their audience and prequalify them.

What we did:

  1. We first assessed their sales funnel flow and had a deep dive session to understand their customer avatar and the main traffic source they'll be using.
  2. We then analyzed their landing page's heatmap and session recordings on how their target audience are using and navigating their landing page.
  3. We then reached out to their previous clients and asked them what made them decide to work with Elly Capital as this will help in crafting the lead magnet.
  4. Once we've analyzed all the data, we then tweaked the sales funnel and change their lead magnet from 'Getting a Quote' to 'Downloading the Elly Capital Brochure' as the brochure was the one that most of their past clients always loved about them.
  5. We also added a prequalifying question before they can download the brochure, that way we'll know if they're really serious investors who are actively looking for alternative investments.
