Getting started and a Brief

Recently, we got a new project for a potter named Marina. She loves ceramics and has some trouble selling her products. We were excited to help her out and built a website for her to showcase her beautiful creations.

To start, we had a detailed audit to better understand her target market and learn more about her business. We identified the characteristics and unique style of Marina's products. After discussion, we emphasized the competitive advantages of the brand and the product philosophy our interface would reflect.

🛠️ Prototyping

It all starts with the basics. In the case of the Marina project, we started by creating a prototype. This was done without any design, using only basic colors and standard fonts. This approach allowed us to clearly define the needs and functions of the interface.

Two main functions have been identified:

The opportunity to purchase products that Marina has created with her own two hands

Blogging, where Marina could publish educational materials and share her experience in creating her works, as well as talk about the features of her products

🎨 Design

There is love and kindness in Marina's work, and we have tried to reflect that in the design. We have not overloaded the interface with unnecessary elements, instead opting for a simple and intuitive design that allows users to easily find the product they are looking for with minimal effort.

In the process of designing, we decided to use soft pastel colors, subtle accents, and a lot of negative space. We wanted the products to "speak for themselves".

The inspiration for choosing a color palette came from the works themselves. Marina's work combines warm and cool shades, so it was easy for us to select color combinations that would make the interface both readable and attractive.

🚀 The final result

The online store not only looks attractive, but it will also perfectly serve its main purpose - to increase sales.

Let's congratulate Marina and wish her continued creative success and inspiration for creating more wonderful works!

If you would like to create your own online store and generate income from your craft, we would be happy to help! We can design a unique store for you that is in line with the latest trends, helping to increase sales 🤝
