This never-before-seen design marries cutting-edge technology with our trademark simplicity, maximizing quality and functionality. beamo packs in features you usually find only in industrial-grade laser cutters to give you outsized power to create something that you’ll love.

We have a passion for digital creation and making easy-to-use and affordable tools for makers and designers. Almost 2,500 backers helped us successfully raise $1.6M on Kickstarter for our first 3D printer, FLUX Delta, back in 2014. Having received numerous requests from our users for a more accessible laser cutter, we decided to take on this challenge and dove into the world of laser technology. After gaining substantial manufacturing experience from designing and manufacturing a 3D printer from scratch, we launched Beambox and Beambox Pro, two laser cutters that are powerful and intuitive.

Now, in pursuit of the same goal we’ve had since day one, we’re using our experience from FLUX Delta and Beambox to make something that will take digital creation to the next level. beamo is the laser cutter for everyone.

Communicated regularly with backers and make sure they are well aware of the situation.

Urged R&D team and procurement team to expedite the process, make sure the new prototype can meet the desired deadline.

Send personalized monthly reminders as well as campaign updates.

Consulted with customs brokers, customs officials and other stakeholders, realized that our product was classified similar to CNC machines and thus needed to file certificate of origin in order to export to the US.

Coordinated with SW team, create backlog and keep track of each tasks within the assigned period of time.

Collected issues and bugs from backers using Zendesk.

Created troubleshooting guidelines written in English & Chinese with Notion, and then posted on kickstarter as well as the offfical website.
