Hilal: Bilingual Ramadan Habit-Tracking PWA

Hilal is a bilingual habit-tracking PWA I designed and developed from concept to production. It brings daily habits, prayer times, fasting progress, intentions, streaks, rewards and personalization into one calm experience.

Many habit trackers make a missed day feel like failure. Hilal takes a softer approach. Progress stays visible, missed days remain part of the journey, and users are encouraged to return without losing motivation.

Use the full experience in Arabic or English

Arabic was treated as a complete product experience, not a translated version. Hilal supports responsive RTL and LTR layouts, bilingual content and interface patterns that feel natural in both languages.

I handled the product direction, user journeys, interface design, frontend architecture, responsive implementation, motion and PWA experience.

Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Framer Motion, next-intl, Serwist PWA and encrypted local storage using AES-GCM.
