Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd, through its subsidiaries, is a global provider of insurance and reinsurance solutions.
How it started:
Every product has it's own link, own login and own process. It is cumbersome and mentally taxing to remember how things are supposed to work!", said many Allied World partners.

To make it easier for our partners/agents/brokers to service their clients in the whole life cycle of insurance
Consolidate all the online platforms into one place

Adheres to the brand guidelines and taking into consideration UX best practices
Establish a design system to ensure a more efficient design and development process and consistency
Supporting the partners in helping them bring the best service they can for their clients
How it is going:

Successfully launched 4 products on the portal and helping the business save man-hours and improving processes
Establish a working design system that is used throughout the organisation
🏁 Results of the survey on the portal
✅ 94.2% said that it was easy to use
✅ 93.7% said it was useful
⏫ Increased Net Promotor Score to +15

This is a multi-year project and I think the main challenges would be,
Making sure that even as the number of products and features increase on the portal, to maintain easy navigation and usability.
Figuring out how to design the portal for now and also keeping in mind future additions and expansions. Something that also makes sense for both development and design.
