This project involved creating a logo and brand identity for a new business which operates a plastic recycling service. Apex Recycling Solutions reprocesses end-of-life plastic packaging that would otherwise end up in the ocean or being incinerated.
Challenge
It was important to create a brand with a clean and fresh aesthetic, in order to emphasise the benefits of the recycling service – diverting waste plastic away from the ocean and back into useful applications.
Solution
The logo and identity uses wave patterns as an ocean reference, but also features an infinite loop as a nod to the circular economy of plastic recycling. The colour scheme is also intended to suggest a clean and natural ocean.
