From Market Stall to Modern Storefront — How I Helped Omote-Eki Scale Their Grocery Business Online
Imagine transforming a bustling, offline grocery business into a fully-automated digital marketplace that syncs orders, tracks inventory, and boosts sales — all while staying beautifully responsive on every device.
That’s what I delivered for Omote-Eki, a fast-growing organic food brand looking to modernize their customer experience and streamline operations. My goal? Build a conversion-driven, WooCommerce-powered eCommerce website that brings the local market feel online without losing an ounce of trust or flavor.
What I Did
I took the Figma design and rebuilt it as a responsive WordPress website using Elementor Pro fully optimized for speed, SEO, and mobile usability. But this wasn’t just a standard WooCommerce store. I integrated a POS system that syncs inventory between online and offline locations in real time, drastically reducing stock discrepancies and manual entry errors.
