A complete digital lending solution with mobile, administrative web portal, built-in rules and AI-enabled creditworthiness.
What were my responsibilites?
Product Management: Engaging in hands-on product discovery, ensuring product-market fit, defining features, user story mapping and prioritizing them effectively. Spearheading product vision, roadmap and strategy. Conducted Market Research, Customer and End User behaviour and need analysis and explored product variants to increase total addressable market (TAM)
Cross-Functional Leadership: Providing leadership across various functions including product management, business analysis, development, quality assurance, customer success, user experience, sales, marketing and legal.
Institutional Collaboration and Marketing: Coordinating with educational institutions, executing marketing initiatives, and launching new products.
Sales and Marketing Strategy: Formulating and executing the sales and marketing processes for the application. Crafting marketing materials to support brand positioning and product offerings, including revitalizing the company website to enhance brand awareness.
Stakeholder Management: Navigating relationships with internal stakeholders, including business leadership and the board of directors, as well as external stakeholders such as banks, non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), educational institutions, and investors.
Cybersecurity Implementation: Ensuring the successful implementation of cybersecurity measures and checklists, secure user flows, documentation, and compliance with local authority regulations, leading to certification against technical audit with VAPT by authorized auditors.
Application Development: Building a cross-platform B2C mobile application on the Ionic framework and Microsoft Azure for consumers, and developing an AI-enabled AngularJS-based web application B2B2C for admin staff and business partners.
System Integrations: Shortlisting third party systems/APIs/Tools and Implementing integrations with workflow engines, credit information bureaus, payment gateways, OCR system, AML/CFT checking system, SMS and email gateways, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) servers to support various aspects of the financing application, decisioning journey, and user engagement.
Product Analytics: Designing and deploying product analytics using Amplitude to create a monitoring dashboard for segmentation and funnel analysis, enabling the analysis of user behavior and planning for feature and user flow enhancements.
Loan Management System: Designing and managing operations of loan management and establishing communication and strategy with banks and NBFCs.
Team Supervision: Overseeing the development team, guiding sprint features, facilitating user story handovers, and aiding in development sprints to clarify and resolve user story aspects, as well as managing release and shipment processes.
What were the results?
Spearheading Product Management resulted 5x feature enrichment across mobile app and web portal.
Orchestrated collaborations with over 40 educational institutes, banks, and NBFCs, generating over PKR 5000M in lending opportunities with optimized customer success, operations and support processes.
Achieved a 45% increase in customer engagements within a matter of weeks through strategic and targeted product marketing initiatives in partner educational institutes.
Implemented AI-driven instant eligibility checks and lending proposals with 0.2% NPLs, , leading to minimal delinquency and seamless loan approval workflows
