What was the platform about?

A SaaS ERP (web and mobile) built on MS Azure for complete Student Information Management from being an applicant to a graduate. Consisted of multiple large scale pupose built modules for tracking admissions, financials and academic information of the students with rich analytics and reporting capabilities.

What were my responsibilities?

Defined product roadmaps: Created strategic plans, prioritized features, and ensured alignment with business objectives.

Hands-on Feature Definition and Brainstorming: Brainstormed on product feature enrichment in light of market needs and end user requirements, created well defined and organized development ready user stories. Written pseduo-algorithms for complex business use casea and administrative btach processes.

Solution Architect: Provide expert guidance to the implementation team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation to roll out the product across variety of educational institutes. Performed thorough assessments of the implementation team’s architectural designs and analyses, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and strategic objectives. Developed sophisticated architectural solutions, streamline processes, and engineer advanced features to meet intricate business requirements.

Led cross-functional teams: Successfully collaborated with engineering, QA, design, sales and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products.

Conducted user requirement sessions and research: Gathered insights through requirement gathering sessions, surveys, interviews, and usability testing to inform product decisions.

Implemented agile methodologies: Facilitated sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives for efficient development cycles.

Championed user-centric design: Advocated for intuitive interfaces and delightful user experiences.

Brought 20x feature enrichment , 8x growth in client size and 20x increase in the number of users.

Delivered 500+ enterprise level features of web/mobile forms, batch processes, integrations, reports & dashboards etc with rich configurability and stunning user experience.

Lead first international rollout of the product to bring yearly recurring revenue of worth 100k+ $/year and still going for the past 8 years.

Led cross functional team of (12 developers, 4 QA, 3 business analysts, 2 UX designers) as a Senior Product Owner to 15+ major releases and 20+ minor releases.

As a solutions architect & product expert leader, assisted 30+ higher education institutes process 100k + Online Applications and Manage Academics and Financial information of 50k+ students.

Coached team of Product Managers and Business Analysts in both in-person & remote mode for 5 years, mentored them to win 10+ employee of the month individual awards.
