The story

YOSE1 started with a simple ambition: bring anime culture into Web3 without losing what makes it special. The platform is designed to be a home for discovering, collecting, and trading high-quality, original anime IP NFTs, while fostering a passionate community through storytelling, curated collections, and thoughtfully designed auction experiences.
We partnered with the team from day one, leading the project from 0 to 1. This included shaping the brand, visual direction, illustrations, product design, and fully implementing the platform end to end.

Making the brand feel culturally native

We tried to highlight YOSE1 is at its core: a Solana-based anime NFT platform.
We chose Mango Grotesque, inspired by classic 90s anime typography like Akira, and paired it with Geist for the interface fonts.
The illustration style follows similar anime visuals people already see day to day, making the brand feel culturally native.

Making exclusivity feel worth following

We designed a set of YOSE1-native exclusive characters to support storytelling and curated collections, giving the community something to follow and connect with over time.
Each character is thoughtfully crafted with its own personality, lore, and progression. It helps the platform feel alive and encourage deeper engagement beyond individual drops.

The Landing page

Instead of a typical cookie cutter landing page, we create a story-led landing page that explains what YOSE1 is, while guiding people toward early access.
Bento-style sections nudge users to join Discord, get early access, and follow upcoming drops on Magic Eden. Supporting marketing materials were also created to keep the experience consistent beyond the landing page.

Product

Making auctions feel familiar

The auction experience follows patterns people already know from platforms like Magic Eden and Rarible, or other NFTs like Azuki & Chainzoku, with clear countdowns and bidding flows that feel natively degen.
This becomes the main place for all YOSE1 drops, from exclusive characters to other NFTs that users can mint directly on the platform.
We integrated wallets like Phantom directly into the platform so users can mint NFTs without leaving YOSE1. Fewer steps, less setup, and a smoother flow overall, making it easier for people to move from interest to minting.

Gallery

The gallery showcases NFTs owned and minted on YOSE1, giving users a clear view of what they hold. Each gallery is personalized, reflecting individual collections and activity, so ownership feels visible and meaningful rather than hidden behind transactions.

The impact of staying true to the brand

When YOSE1 launched, the existing Discord community converted quickly into early platform activity. In the first few days, thousands of users connected their wallets and participated in drops. The YOSE1 exclusive collection fully minted within the first 24h, with continued activity carrying over into secondary marketplaces.
Within 3 months, overall mint volume reaching 7-figures in USD across primary sales. What began as a cultural experiment quickly formed into a living ecosystem shaped by both its creators and its community.
