Background

Launch in Asia is a dynamic ecosystem of partners and resources aimed at assisting companies and individuals in establishing their businesses within the diverse and rapidly growing markets of Asia. Similar to a social media platform but tailored for B2B interactions, Launch in Asia connects entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, and industry experts across the region. It offers a range of services, from market research and legal assistance to funding and networking opportunities, facilitating a seamless entry into Asian markets.

My Roles

As a UI/UX Designer and Product Designer for Launch in Asia, my responsibilities are encompass the following:

  1. User Interface (UI) Design:
    • Crafting visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for the Launch in Asia platform.
    • Ensuring a consistent and cohesive visual identity throughout the platform.
    • Designing responsive web and mobile interfaces to cater to a diverse user base.
  2. User Experience (UX) Design:
    • Conducting user research and analysis to understand the needs and preferences of businesses and individuals seeking to establish themselves in Asia.
    • Creating user personas and user journeys to inform design decisions.
    • Designing user-friendly workflows and navigation structures to enhance the overall user experience.
  3. Product Design:
    • Collaborating closely with the development and business teams to translate concepts and user requirements into functional product features.
    • Iteratively designing and refining the platform's features and functionalities based on user feedback.
    • Prototyping and wireframing to communicate design concepts effectively.

Project Scope

  • Time Frame: 1 month for Landing Page
  • Project Scale: Designing homepage, contact us, about us, locations, news & insight, resources, faq, privacy policy, terms and conditions. (Update: Planned to continue the development for the partner's ecosystem (community like)







Action

There are also challenges that arise during this project development, A few of them are:

  • Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and accommodating the diverse cultures and business practices in different Asian countries can be a significant challenge when designing a platform for cross-border business setup.
  • Data Security and Compliance: Ensuring that the platform adheres to data security and compliance regulations across various Asian countries can be complex and requires thorough research and design considerations.
