The app needed to offer a reliable platform for managing services, with integrated payment processing and escrow features to build trust and streamline the workflow for both service providers and clients. Our Contribution: We played a key role in the development of the GigYogi mobile application by: 1. Developing the sender/provider-side logic, ensuring gig workers could manage their profiles, services, and communication with clients effectively. 2.Building the entire mobile application from the ground up, leveraging React Native for cross-platform compatibility and a smooth user experience. 3. Integrating a payment gateway, enabling secure and reliable transactions between clients and service providers. 4.Implementing Escrow functionality, ensuring both parties have confidence in the payment process, with funds held securely until the services are completed. Project Success: The GigYogi mobile app successfully launched on Android, providing gig workers and clients with an intuitive and secure platform to interact and transact. The integration of escrow and payment features contributed to a trusted environment, attracting a growing number of users and helping facilitate smoother, safer gig work transactions.
