Client Goal:

The client's goal was to create a streamlined SaaS platform that simplifies the process of generating short videos and captions for YouTube Shorts. The platform needed to integrate powerful video editing tools and AI-powered features to enhance user experience and efficiency, catering to content creators of all levels.

Our Contribution:

We played a key role in the development of Ssemble.com by:

Building the server-side video export functionality with FFmpeg and Node.js, ensuring smooth and reliable video processing.

Developed a Python-based AI application to detect the speaker's face and position them at the centre of videos, while also transcribing audio for subtitle generation.

Introducing various transition effects and advanced video editing features using FFmpeg, enhancing the platform’s editing capabilities.

Designing and implementing a plugin ecosystem that allows users to extend the platform's functionality with ease.

Developing an AI voice agent that converts text into high-quality MP3 files using Eleven Labs and Microsoft APIs, offering users seamless voiceovers for their videos.

Creating a plugin for AI-generated YouTube videos using ChatGPT and other AI libraries, enabling users to quickly generate engaging content.

We manage cloud deployments, services, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure uninterrupted service.

Project Success:

The project successfully launched as a powerful shorts maker and caption editing tool for YouTube Shorts and uploaded videos. It is serving hundreds of requests daily and attracting a growing paid user base. The integration of AI-driven features and seamless video export processes significantly enhanced the platform's user experience, helping content creators produce professional-quality videos with minimal effort.
