📍Brief Overview:

The "Contact Us" page project aimed to resolve a major pain point for users of the EngageSubsea dashboard by providing a dedicated and accessible communication channel for assistance and support. While limited formal user research was conducted, invaluable feedback from users through email inquiries underscored the urgency for this feature. Guided by user input, the page was meticulously designed with a focus on user experience best practices, ensuring a seamless and intuitive interface. The successful implementation of the "Contact Us" page significantly improved user satisfaction by facilitating quicker and more efficient means of reaching out for help, enhancing the overall user experience within the EngageSubsea platform.

🔎 So what was the problem:

The absence of a dedicated "Contact Us" page within the EngageSubsea dashboard proved to be a significant pain point for users, creating confusion and frustration when seeking assistance or reporting issues. Although limited user research was conducted due to the critical nature of this feature, feedback and emails from users highlighted the necessity for an easy-to-use and efficient contact method beyond the existing email address. Recognizing this pressing need, I took the initiative to design and implement a user-friendly contact us page, addressing the users' demands for streamlined communication and enhanced support. The resulting solution provided a seamless and accessible means for users to seek help, significantly improving their overall experience with the EngageSubsea platform.

💡What did the proposed solution include?

To address the pressing need for improved user support, I took the initiative to design and implement a user-friendly contact us page as a supplement to the EngageSubsea dashboard. The solution focused on simplicity and minimalism to ensure a seamless user experience. The page includes essential fields for users to provide their name, company, email address, and a brief explanation of their issue. Moreover, a dropdown menu allows users to specify the feature or module they need assistance with, facilitating faster and more accurate responses.

🚀Research:

Although limited formal user research was conducted, the creation of the "Contact Us" page was driven by invaluable feedback from users. Their email inquiries expressing the urgency for an easily accessible contact option played a pivotal role in informing the decision to prioritize the feature's development. By iteratively refining the page's design and functionality based on best practices in user interface and user experience design, I ensured a seamless and intuitive experience for users seeking support. The end result met user needs effectively, addressing the critical pain point and enhancing user satisfaction within the EngageSubsea dashboard.

By providing a user-friendly interface and addressing a critical user pain point, I successfully empowered EngageSubsea users to reach out for help easily, reducing their frustration and facilitating timely issue resolution. The addition of the "Contact Us" page not only improved the overall user experience but also showcased the value of user-centered design in addressing real user needs within the EngageSubsea dashboard.
