Client Overview

The Wander Word is a travel coach who specializes in transforming tourists into traveling by taking life-changing trips rooted in empowerment and confidence. Jess' goal is to help her clients connect with the world and experience authentic culture through slow travel.

Pre-Booking Challenges

Jess wanted to turn her side hustle into a full-time career after quitting her teaching job, allowing her to fully embrace her passion for coaching and travel. She recognized that her curriculum and online presence appeared to be DIY and aimed to make them more professional to better reflect the quality of her services.

Coach Jess founded The Wander Word after experiencing limited travel and learning opportunities as a public school teacher. Witnessing her students form lifelong friendships and immerse themselves in different cultures during their travels inspired her to create courses and services. These offerings aim to help others connect deeply with the culture of their chosen destination and live like a true local.
