Through the user research, I understood a lot of times spends on finding videos, videos are not structured in order to progress user interviews. What else? How to make the process easier for users.
The goal of 8 weeks is to get experience creating a hypothesis, gathering quick feedback to validate or invalidate the hypothesis, iterating upon the feedback received, and testing again.

A 'CHALLENGING' PROBLEM STATEMENT
Initially, before beginning the design journey I went on to define a 'challenge' problem statement that would be redefined in the later stages
How might we help professionals master subjects they love or are curious about?
UX ROAD MAP
What are the pain points and different user journeys throughout the process?
USER RESEARCH
I personally use YouTube to learn new skills, but I'm not sure what difficulties people face to master them because it's so well established. To understand how other people use YouTube to learn something I startedresearching and interviewing candidates about their YouTube learning experiences.
The interviews focused on gathering key information and helping users understand:
1. Past experiences with learning a new skills
2. Problems faced during any of the past cases
3. Process they currently follow for learning something from YouTube
4. Their experiences with watching videos
5. Key factors considered in deciding to go with a video over others
Based on these curiosities, I interviewed 4 users. The study helped me discover key insights and identify critical issues in this process.
USER INTERVIEWS

Learner #1 Watching videos most of the time to prepare myself for the upcoming govt exams. In terms of the learning a lot of times finding video that helps to understand a topic takes time.
He watches a lot of videos, and sometimes it's very easy to find the video that solves his question, but sometimes it takes time to find it.
Learner #2 After watching a video for sometime YouTube recommend random video and we get distracted to maintain that focus we should have a feature.
They start a video to learn about something but after a certain point they get distracted by YouTube recommendation

RE-DEFINED PROBLEM STATEMENT
Let's redefine the problem statement based on user research!
How might we help professionals to find videos that helps them master subjects they love or are curious about?
PAIN POINTS
The major focus of the process is on the choosing the video that solves his/her doubt
Many times, a student will try to find a playlist on that topic. To do so, the user must visit the creator page to see if someone has a playlist on that topic.
It's difficult to find a list of creators who make videos on that topic or niche.
COMPETITOR ANALYSIS
According to a brief provided by Team Nextleap, there is no direct competitor, but in the ed tech space there are competitors like Coursera, Udemy, Unacademy, which provides free and paid courses to learners.
USER FLOW & WIREFRAMES
According to the user interviews and analysis of the competitors, most of the users have a common concern with YouTube, it is not just for learning how to not get diluted and to concentrate on one thing.
User flow
It occurred to me when I was creating this flow that I was thinking about all the learners who used YouTube to learn. I discussed this with nextleap peers, and they suggested I include this feature for premium members. Since YouTube itself is trying to provide a better experience without ads, why not make it even better for them?
Home page
The YouTube algorithm analyzes user patterns and changes how users use the platform, but for a student, showing different videos on their homepage can be confusing
Manage
For a student, having more options creates clutter, which is why Manage helps manage their Youtube recommendations
