Open Sky Touring wanted to promote its new heavy-duty 4WD and camping storage boxes while also targeting a growing female audience. They decided to release limited-edition pink storage boxes but were unsure of how to best advertise this promotion online.
I came to Open Sky Touring with the idea of partnering with the McGrath Foundation, which has been set up in Australia to help support cancer treatment nurses and cancer treatment in general. By becoming a McGrath Foundation Partner, Open Sky Touring pledged to donate $10 from every box sold to the foundation.
We promoted this online by creating a dedicated landing page with emotive content and USPs. We also advertised the box via social channels and email marketing.
Open Sky Touring was able to sell all 300 of the limited-edition boxes within the first six days of the promotion going live. This resulted in $3000 being donated to the McGrath Foundation and almost $45000 in sales for the brand.
