IEXIST is a lifestyle and streetwear brand based in Atlanta, GA. Their plan is to create a comic world in the digital space, with merchandise to follow their future rollouts. In a desensitized world, their message aims to empower people to take a step back and have empathy for their fellow human. This brand stands in their pride for black culture; they don't shy away from bringing unseen stories to light.

For this project, I collaborated with IEXIST to help them to redefine their core values and audience through an extensive questionnaire and 1:1 consultation call. From there we crafted a brand new visual identity that properly reflected their newfound brand ethos.

I redesigned their original logo, gave them a custom color palette and found typography that reflected their newfound bright & rebellious essence.

After a 1:1 call, extensive questionnaire and a lot of research, I presented IEXIST with two concepts, in two very different styles that I felt reflected their wishes. I do this so that my clients are absolutely sure which direction they want to go in. It was a tough choice, but ultimately they chose the first concept.

These logo variations were illustrated completely in procreate. The client expressed they wanted an 'undone' feel to their logo to reflect their humble beginnings.
