PROJECT OVERVIEW
Rooted in the Australian South Coast
Coastland Gardens is a garden design and maintenance studio founded by Carlos and Mercedes in Ulladulla, on the NSW South Coast, Australia. Specialising in native vegetation, garden design, and long-term care, their approach combines local knowledge with a deeply personal way of working.
The goal was to clearly communicate their services while translating this philosophy into a refined digital identity that feels natural, elegant, and approachable. Earthy tones, generous space, and carefully selected photography connect the experience to the Australian landscape while keeping it contemporary and sophisticated.
MY WORK
An editorial approach to landscape design
I translated the existing logo and colour references into a complete digital experience, balancing nature, refinement, and functionality. I developed the creative direction, structured the landing page using UX/UI principles, created an editorial layout with asymmetrical compositions and generous negative space, and built a restrained natural colour system. Photography of the landscape and the founders reinforces the personal, hands-on character of the studio.
I designed and implemented the responsive website with SEO foundations and a clear enquiry journey, using AI as part of the creative and development process. The final functional landing page was completed by me from visual direction and UX/UI through implementation.
