Self-directed, AI-assisted demonstration using entirely fictional products, SKUs and prices. No real client or business outcome is claimed.
I compared two vendor price lists by SKU, preserving all 26 original source rows. The formula-driven workbook identifies 2 price changes, 5 unchanged SKUs, 2 additions, 2 absent SKUs and 3 records requiring review.
Missing prices stay missing, supplied zero prices remain valid, and duplicate IDs block price selection even when duplicate prices agree. The 7 comparable SKUs total $91.50 previously and $90.50 currently. These totals compare one price per comparable SKU; they are not an inventory valuation or achieved saving.
The workbook includes the comparison and both source tables. Independent calculations matched the results. Blank-to-zero, duplicate blocking and source-edit recalculation tests passed, with no formula errors.
This is a fixed 14-SKU demonstration. New deliveries require rebuilding the roster and extending the documented ranges. Absent means missing from the supplied list, not necessarily discontinued. Calculations were checked with Artifact Tool; native Excel recalculation has not been tested.
