Barr's Transportation: Framer customization for a Jacksonville car service

Barr's Transportation is a family-owned private ground transport company in Jacksonville, Florida. We customized an existing Framer design so the site carries their brand, content and proof from the first screen to the footer.
Client: Barr's Transportation (through the agency ConvertAble) · Industry: Transportation, luxury car service · What we did: Framer customization · Platform: Framer · Timeline: 10 Feb to 20 Mar 2026 · Live: barrstransportation.com

About the client

Barr's Transportation has run executive sedans, SUVs, vans and buses in Northeast Florida since 2011, for airport transfers, corporate travel and events, 24/7. Glenn and Jill Barr founded it, and it is family-owned and veteran-owned. The team also books flights and hotels for groups through Barr's Travel.

The challenge

Barr's needed a polished site in their own brand, and they needed it quickly, without paying for a build from scratch.
Speed over a rebuild. The brief was a quick customization of an existing Framer design, not a new site.
Trust before the first call. Riders book cars for flights, weddings and business trips, so they look for proof before they reserve.
Many services, one page. Airport transfers, group travel, hourly rides, weddings, long-distance trips and city tours all had to fit and stay easy to scan.
A fleet to explain. Sedans, SUVs, Sprinter vans, mini buses and mini coaches each suit a different kind of trip.

What we did

Made the design theirs

Changed the layout, content, imagery and branding of the existing Framer design to match Barr's identity.
The first screen states the offer in one line: “Northeast Florida's Leading Provider of Private Transportation”.
Make a Reservation and Request a Quote sit side by side, with a phone line for urgent trips.

Showed who already rides with them

Client logos and badges sit right under the intro, so trust shows before the first scroll.
A rider review sits on the first screen, in the rider's own words.

Put numbers and people up front

The home page leads with the facts buyers check: on-time guarantee, years in business, clients served and Google rating.
Then the founders, the vision and the team, with real photos and names, from the general manager to the dispatchers.

Made services and the fleet easy to scan

Services open as a list, from airport transfers to weddings and long-distance rides, each with its own Reservation and Quote buttons.
The fleet runs from luxury sedans to mini coaches, and each vehicle has a rider review next to it.

Scope

Included:
Customization of an existing Framer design: layout, content, imagery and branding
Client logos and trust badges under the intro
Home page sections for key numbers, founders, team, services and fleet
Not included:
The base design: the Framer site was already published before our start date
A new design in Figma or a build from scratch
The booking system: reservations open in a separate booking tool
Ongoing maintenance after the project ended in March 2026

Results

Delivered between 10 February and 20 March 2026.
Live on Framer at barrstransportation.com.
One home page covers why riders choose Barr's, the founders and team, 8 services, 5 vehicle types, reviews and FAQs.
The site stays in Framer, so the team can keep changing text and photos without a developer.

What we'd improve next

Add a trip price guide. A simple range for common trips, like airport transfers, would help riders decide before they ask for a quote.
Give the main services their own pages. Airport transfers, weddings and long-distance rides each deserve a page that can show up when people search for that trip in Jacksonville.
Turn the destinations FAQ into pages. The site already lists hotels, resorts and venues on Amelia Island, Ponte Vedra and St. Augustine. A page per area would help riders and search engines find them.

Working on something similar?

I design websites in Figma and build them in Framer or Webflow, so your team can edit every page without a developer. Message me here on Contra with your site or Figma file, and I'll reply with a plan and a fixed price.

A family-owned Jacksonville car service got a site in its own brand fast, by customizing an existing Framer design instead of building from scratch.
