Website design for a luxury hotel investment firm in Amsterdam
Our client, an investment firm based in Amsterdam, gives private investors access to international luxury hotel projects under premium brands. We designed their website in Figma. We did not build the live site.
Client: Hotel investment firm · Industry: Hospitality investment · What we did: Website design · Platform: Figma · Timeline: January to March 2026 · Location: Amsterdam
About the client
The firm invests in international luxury hotel projects and opens them to private investors, a market that is usually closed to the public. Its current focus is an ultra-luxury ocean-front resort in Zanzibar, run under a global hotel brand. Its website is in Dutch.
The challenge
A firm that sells a stake in luxury hotels is judged on looks before anything else.
Credibility at a glance. The site had to feel as premium as the hotels behind it.
Two audiences. Private investors want confidence; hotel partners want to see the vision and the projects.
Big photography. Full-bleed resort photos had to lead without taking over every section.
Type that signals luxury. A mix of italic serif and clean sans-serif had to hold up at every screen size.
What we did
Set a quiet luxury look
Chose a deep navy and warm cream palette, a classic look for luxury investment that reads as stable and premium.
Paired an italic serif for headlines and accents with a clean sans-serif for menus and body text.
Let the resort photos lead
Used full-bleed aerial photography of the projects as the main visual, from the hero down.
Laid out partner logos, project cards and a “Why choose us” section to build trust step by step as visitors scroll.
Told the project as a story
Designed the current project page in a magazine layout, with the Zanzibar resort treated as a feature story, not a data sheet.
Planned the site around strategy, current projects and partners, so investors and hotel partners each find their part.
Scope
Included:
Website design in Figma: the home page, the project page and the supporting pages for strategy and partners.
Not included:
Development. We did not build the live site.
The investment offer. Project details, terms and figures are the firm’s own.
Results
Design delivered in Figma between January and March 2026.
The firm’s site is now live in Dutch, with pages for the Zanzibar project, their strategy and investing. Another team built it, so we don’t claim the live site as our work.
What we’d improve next
Add an English version. The site is in Dutch only; English pages would open it to international investors and hotel partners.
Add a project updates feed. Build milestones and new photos for the Zanzibar resort would show investors steady progress.
Add an investor FAQ. One page explaining how investing works, step by step, would answer the first questions before an investor gets in touch.
Working on something similar?
I design websites in Figma and build them in Framer or Webflow, so your team can edit every page without a developer. Message me here on Contra with your site or Figma file, and I’ll reply with a plan and a fixed price.
