Multi Camera Interview / Demo - Talks at Google (Editor)

Remotely produced and edited this 4-camera shoot at Google's Seattle offices for the Talks at Google series (2.4M YouTube subscribers). Managed the full post-production process without being on-site.

Before the shoot, I held a call with the on-site production crew and my client at Google to go over all the details: camera placement, angles, and what to expect from the space. That pre-planning was critical. It eliminated potential issues on the day of the shoot, and because expectations had been set ahead of time, the production went smoothly with no surprises. It also gave me a jump on the editing process because I knew exactly what I'd be getting from each camera.

Once the footage came in, I started by syncing all 4 video feeds to each other and the master audio track. From there I created a transcript and used it to map out what needed to be cut. I watched the full recording alongside the transcript, taking notes on specific cuts and where camera changes would strengthen the pacing. Then I moved into the edit using Premiere's multicam tool.

The team at Google did a good job prepping the talent beforehand, so the overall editorial direction was already set. My job was to follow their lead and shape the raw multi-camera footage into something that felt polished and conversational.

Shot in mid-June, posted on YouTube in mid-July. A clean, polished multi-camera edit delivered on a ~4 week turnaround, produced entirely remotely for one of YouTube's most-watched interview series.
