The Project

Engineered and edited approximately 20 episodes of CVS Health Live, the company's flagship video podcast. Each episode featured multiple guests connecting via Riverside.fm with 4-5 remote camera feeds, distributed on LinkedIn and CVS Health's YouTube channel (~50K subscribers).

The Process

The biggest technical challenge was the remote setup itself. Every episode meant making sure all participants could connect to the platform, had a proper background, and that recordings came through clean without internet dropoff in the middle of an answer. When you're syncing 4-5 separate camera feeds from different locations, there's no room for a corrupted file or a dropped connection mid-sentence.
On the editorial side, we worked with business partners and subject matter experts throughout the company during the planning stages to make sure we knew what topics to steer clear of before anyone hit record. That front-loaded collaboration replaced what would have otherwise been a painful medical/legal review bottleneck in post.
After editing the first couple of episodes, I developed a personal template that significantly reduced my overall turnaround time. Combined with pre-built graphics templates, this gave the series a repeatable, efficient workflow without sacrificing quality.

The Result

~20 episodes delivered on a monthly cadence, each one cleanly produced from multiple remote camera feeds. The planning-stage collaboration with internal experts kept the review process smooth, and the templated workflow I built made each episode faster to turn around than the last.
