The Project

Chief editor and occasional producer on CVS Health's Healthy Communities series, a long-running brand storytelling program spanning 50+ episodes over nearly 5 years. Each episode spotlighted how a specific community was dealing with a health issue and what CVS Health was doing to help. Topics ranged widely: human trafficking, community health, food access, mental health, seniors' issues, children's health, preventable conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes, COVID responses, and community vaccination efforts.
The series was distributed monthly on the CVS Health company intranet and their YouTube channel (~50K subscribers).

The Process

Every episode followed a structured post-production workflow. Once I received the raw footage, the edit went through multiple rounds of revisions with stakeholders, medical review, legal review, and brand review. Typical turnaround from my first cut to final delivery was about 3 weeks.
Production happened nationwide, which meant coordinating schedules and getting crews to shoot locations across the country was a constant logistical challenge. Keeping the series visually and tonally consistent across dozens of different locations, crews, and subject matter required building a reliable editorial framework that could flex without breaking.

The Result

50+ episodes delivered over nearly 5 years, each one on time and through a rigorous multi-stakeholder approval process. The series gave CVS Health a consistent, human storytelling vehicle to communicate their community health initiatives to both internal audiences and the public.
