Creative Web Design for Synthera's EdTech Platform

Creative web design turned an edtech startup into a movement

A New Player With Bigger Dreams

When Synthera came to me, the ambition was clear: this wasn’t meant to be just another Coursera or Udemy. Synthera wanted to build a community-driven learning hub where techies, freelancers, and entrepreneurs could not only upskill but also connect, collaborate, and grow together.
It was about cross-disciplinary learning, unconventional career paths, and real hands-on experiences that prepared people for more than just the job market. It prepared them for a creative future.
As a new brand, Synthera needed a website that could capture that energy at first glance, explain its value in seconds, and stand apart in an already crowded market. That’s when Rvysion Studios brought me in to lead the web design.

Designing Beyond the Ordinary

How do you design a platform that doesn’t look, sound, or feel like the competition? Synthera’s brand identity was bold, earthy browns, playful visuals, and a spark of youthful creativity. My task was to fuse that personality into a site that not only looked unconventional but also guided users with clarity.
Every section of the site was designed to tell a story. From the hero banner, visitors were immediately introduced to Synthera’s mission: a new kind of learning community. Scrolling down, the narrative unfolded: the programs, the live classes, the mentors, and the benefits. Instead of just listing features, the design took users on a journey, making sure they understood not just what Synthera is, and why it matters.

Making Learning Feel Alive

I leaned into Synthera’s playful persona with bold typography, dynamic layouts, and microinteractions that made the site feel alive. The goal wasn’t to overwhelm, but to create those little sparks of delight that make a digital experience memorable.
At the same time, the content flow was carefully structured. Information was delivered in a way that felt natural.
From introducing the brand, to explaining how it works, to showcasing tutors and community stories. In a space where attention spans are short, Synthera’s site held users’ focus and turned curiosity into sign-ups.

From Zero to a Thriving Community

When the site launched, the results were immediate. Synthera grew from an unknown name to enrolling over 500 students in its very first cohort. More than 50 tutors and speakers from across industries signed on to share their expertise. The playful yet professional digital identity helped establish trust with new audiences, while the SEO-driven Webflow build ensured that Synthera could be discovered by those actively searching for fresh learning alternatives.
In short, the website didn’t just announce Synthera to the world; it powered its very first wave of growth.

Reflections on the Work

This project reminded me why I love designing at the intersection of brand and web. It wasn’t just about pages and layouts; it was about translating a brand’s energy into a living, breathing web experience.
For Synthera, that meant bold colors, creative exploration, and a flow that felt like a story rather than a sales pitch. For me, it was a chance to push my design instincts, blending my background in branding with functional, conversion-driven web design.
The result is a platform that doesn’t just sit in the edtech landscape; it stands out, unapologetically bold, playful, and modern.
Synthera’s story proves that when brand identity and web design align, you don’t just build a website, you build a killer site that attracts and converts.
