Small Talk - a conversational card game

The goal of small talk is to help facilitate meaningful interaction with others and combat feelings associated with loneliness due to aftermath of COVID-19 and the ‘friendless epidemic’.

During COVID-19, I was drawn to creating something that could re-spark genuine connection and interaction at a time when I thought we needed community most. I was inspired by other conversational card games such as ReFlex and We're Not Really Strangers, although I wanted to differentiate from their design styles and put something on the market with a more artistic aesthetic.

small talk is available in different versions (such as family, friends, co-workers and dating), all of which feature intellectually stimulating questions that will definitely turn on your critical thinking skills! Each pack comes with a novelty item appropriate to the version, keeping the game interactive and exciting!

This version of small talk focuses on the dating pack, which includes around 40 question cards and comes with playfully branded condoms.
